Two years ago, in the same park, a female tourist dug a large diamond worth $500,000, weighing 8.52 carats.
Since the “Diamond Pit” became a state park, it has attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. Visitors find about 600 diamonds from here every year.

To date, more than 31,000 diamonds have been found in the park, and the colors and grades of these diamonds vary.
